Boarding & Medical Boarding*

Ease your concerns about leaving your pet behind while you’re away: Let our qualified staff take care of him or her. We will provide your dog or cat with a safe, comfortable, “home away from home”. We are happy to accommodate any special care or needs your pet might have. Just let us know when you make the reservation.

We provide amenities such as clean bedding, food and water bowls, and plenty of hugs and kisses. Every pet boarding with us will receive a full physical examination on their admittance by a veterinarian. Please inform us if there are any areas that you would like the veterinarian to check during this exam of your pet. Veterinary technicians and kennel staff regularly monitor pets throughout the day. You have the added benefit of knowing that one of our veterinarians will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay. Pets receive daily exercise and time outside of their kennels with our staff.

Boarding pets with medical needs will be assessed daily by a veterinarian throughout their stay. Pets requiring daily medication should come with their medications from home. This is especially important in the case of compounded medications and insulins. Please note that there is a fee charged for administering medications during your pet’s stay. (Please inquire about discounted daily boarding rates for pets receiving multiple daily medications.)

Boarding pets will be fed our in-house diets unless otherwise specified. Pets being fed a prescription diet should bring their own food. Prescription diets are not used for regular feedings. If a bag or case must be opened for your pet, the cost will be added to the open invoice. Please provide detailed feeding instructions when bring in your pet’s own food.

To keep all our pet patients safe, we require all boarders to be current on vaccines and treated with a flea & tick preventative before boarding. Vaccinations should be given at least two weeks before boarding for full effectiveness. Please call us for more information.

Additional services are available upon request. These can include:
